He performs and records around the globe with the best ensembles and conductors, including the New York and Berliner Philharmonics, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Akademie fur Alte Musik Berlin and at the 2005 Last Night of the Proms - the first countertenor ever to have been invited.Middle Eastern singer/songwriter Mira AWAD weaves Arabic and Hebrew with their oriental ornaments with English and Western harmonies; creating a rich tapestry of sounds and a true world music without borders. Mira has collaborated with Noa, Idan Raichel, David Broza, George Dalaras, La oreja de Van Gogh, Andrea Bocelli and Bobby McFerrin. She was a Sony Spain artist for several years before founding her own indie music company, LabelFree.
Pianist/harpsichordist Tamar HALPERIN has played with Laurence Cummings, Idan Raichel, Theo Bleckmann, and The New York Philharmonic and has conducted from the harpsichord the Podium Festival Orchestra and the English Concert Baroque orchestra. Halperin is also an enthusiastic performer of contemporary music. Her collaborative recordings with Jazz pianist Michael Wollny were awarded a several Echo prizes.
